Creativity is as much a social activity as it is an exclusive activity. Many people feel they can't draw or paint or be creative. It is considered something that you did when you were little. The assumption is also made that you grow out of it or 'lose your touch'. I would argue that creativity is inside all of us, anyone at anytime can generate something original, unique and exciting, given the right tools and encouragement.

Social practice has always been entwined with my own creative processes, and I consider it a crucial and huge part of my work. The natural progression for me was to spread and encourage this creativity as much as possible. I try to involve myself in as many collaborative projects as well as working as an Art facilitator both inside and outside of schools, with children of all different ages, and with adults in community settings either as a parent or independently.
